would you say it is easyer doing it on a smaller trials or bigger ??
-
@ARMekijker alright thanks a lot, i'll try that technique next time im riding.
-
yes then I guessed right;) you should lower your front wheel, normally you don't have to do anything cause your weight is probably already forward so the wheel will lower automatically. when this happens release your brake and kick the pedal with your forward foot. when in mid air hold your brake again and then land;) make sure u were a helmet and don't lean to much backwards when jumping! centre your weight or keep it more to the front;) hope I helped this time good luck m8

i get you i think, basicly i can do a pedal kick with both wheels starting on the floor just fine, but i dont understand the technique of doing it with the front wheel up
-
I don't quit understand what you mean srry.
so you can do one pedal kick but not two? if so just apply the same technique lower your front wheel, release your brake and kick, hold your brake and land.
hope I helped else refrase the question cause I didn't really get itXD
the weights difference is not that big, its a matter of balance so you could do it on any type of bike! as long as you find the central point of gravity you will be fine;)

@Nolandebacker hmmm the problem must be somewhere in your body movement. you should try to jump with your body aswell, what I tell most people (how strange it may sound) is to literaly fuck your handlebar... so everytime you want to kick your pedal move your body from a backwards and down position to an upwards and forward position, this together with kicking will make sure you wil have some airtime, if not do this movement with more agression. also make sure to hold your brake when landing!

hmm its more difficult on an mtb but certainly not impossible! heavy bikes are not imbossible it is a matter of balance, sure you need more strength for it, but with good balance you wil manage. however I do recomend a trialsbike for riding! because its weight but more importantly its geometry is more fit for trials than on an mtb
