Jockeys Calvin Borel and Javier Castellano mixed it up in what started as a shouting match and turned into a physical altercation after the 2010 Breeders' Cup Marathon at Churchill Downs.

This was AWESOME!!! What the sport needs!!! The sport needs a more edgy appeal...Borel and Castellano should be THANKED by the other jockeys, trainers, and owners. This sparring might be the start of something GREAT!!!

This is live action sports. Real events,real problems,real reactions,real emotions.

If this began in the jocks room. There would be real bad injuries. If a jockey,doesn't

respond to almost injuring other jockeys. He doesn't give a damn about there safety.And,thats scarey. Borel,had a jockey,who looked at him like he was stupid. Didn't acknowledge,what he almost caused,swung first. Borel,was right for going after him. A person that is numb in the head,would respond differently. Good job Borel.

Calvin Borel grabs J. Castellano by the collar and begins to admonish him for his reckless ride and J. Castellano sucker punches Borel which is what sends Borel over the edge. Castellano was reckless in his ride and Borel was trying to set the young man straight and he responded by sucker punching Borel. Borel did not throw the first punch.
