so apparently people are STILL not understanding. No-one cares that he's a nom-dom. The problem is that HE WAS SUPPOSED TO STOP BEING A NOM-DOM IN ORDER TO BECOME A LORD. Lord Paul, Lord Mittal none of these people were given their Peerage on the promise to stop being tax exiles, Ashcroft was.
It's pretty effing simple really.

I don't get it- it was labour that didn't end non-doms and most of those tories can afford their own merc so are less likely to be "bought" by rich donors. (such as the unions do with labour)
