the characters were so flat and the visuals so dark and muted. Making something boring and ugly does not equate making it more "mature". If a sequal is made, do yourself a favor and make it like the show, not like your own dull vision.

I hated the way the characters were, they didnt bond at all. 2 slices of toast bond in a toaster better then the characters in this movie.

He wants also to direct The Twilight movie and split the movie in two. So there goes another series down the toilet. He was very rude in Mexico, because they told him in public that his movies were horrible.

i absolutly love the cartoon to the bottom of my heat.ssooo much and i still watch it every day but i didnt think that the movie lived up to the cartoon at all. and you nowat the funny thing is...i bet if he didnt make it more "mature" he would have gotten such better rates and so much more money cuz the whole "mature" thing is wat made the movie bad

This lad reminds me of Woody Allen i.e. he's an overrated weirdo who has only made a handful of even watchable films. Still, at least Shyamalan didn't marry his adopted daughter.
