1st Auto-rotation with the 60 size Heli Watch in HD

Got the Predator out on a finally clear day, so we can see it doing some 3D. I had a flameout and had to auto it, but worked really well. CubDestroyer is also out with his Apprentice and F18

I`m suprised he couldn`t get his Apprentice flying on that runway, I`ve heard of and seen it being hand launched, I personally can get it off in under 20 feet, and by holding the tail I can get it off even less than that, add a head wind its almost a STOL takeoff

Ya it's been off a few times, just alignment prob with front nose wheel and rudder trim, still very narrow and a good skill control to do it

The smoke is from all the oil in the fuel. High % heli fuel like 30%nitro will have lots of oil to help with cooling, after all these heli engines are running at 85-95% throttle the whole flight in idle up, so cooling is crucial. It also tells you how the tune is, not enough smoke you have it too lean, and will overheat and damage your engine

Actually, I can take it off of that runway no problem. If you noticed in the video, I hit the icy wall of snow. I have taken off from that runway a bunch of times since then, and as you said, it doesn't use the full runway.
