Diddy Kong Racing Walkthrough Pt 68: Unlocking TT - Dino Domain

To unlock T.T., you must beat certain times in the "Tracks" section. The video shows successful races/times for Dino Domain courses. You first must select a track and then select time trial. Beat a certain time to unlock T.T.'s ghost. Race again and, if you beat his ghost, select another track. Beat him on all tracks (not including Trophy Races and Battle games) to unlock T.T., the best racer in the game.

Ancient Lake: 1:07.00 (unlock ghost) 1:01.28 (beat ghost)
Fossil Canyon: 1:37.00 (unlock ghost) 1:30.18 (beat ghost)
Jungle Falls: 1:08.00 (unlock ghost) 1:02.50 (beat ghost)
Hot Top Volcano: 1:35.00 (unlock ghost) 1:30.71 (beat ghost)

there is no way to beat t.t on all courses without tapping the A button.. i remember when i was a kid i raced every race PERFECT for t.t. and i still wouldnt even match to him. i tried all short cuts hit all the zip turbo pads and i still couldnt beat him on certain tracks, until one day i found out that tapping A makes u go faster and made all tracks on a reasonable difficulty

@thewisejanitor These videos prove it is possible. The A button thing is a glitch. Rare wouldn't have made this impossible on purpose. Beating T.T. is quite easy actually; you just need to practice.

hey i beat the tt on all four races but it dont unlock him i started a new game on the adventure part and when i talked to tt when you start a new adventure game and he explains that he can save you your best ghost i only see where it says "time trial off" in grey letters, when you check your status ,does it always say this even in a new adventure game cuz i cant switch on or off and also do you need a pak to save the ghost when you beat t.t.?

@HustletwnMexican Firstly, yes you need a pak to save ghosts. Also, you need to race T.T. on ALL of the courses in the game, not just these four. Use the "Tracks" option from the game's main menu.

when u hit a zipper, do not i repeat, DO NOT press a untill the flame from the back of the car disappears, that will make the car go faster and get the most of a zipper boost

Do we have to have a controller pack? We've beat him on everything, but don't have a controller pack and the game doesn't seem to recognize that we have beat him.

Do you have to save your ghosts to unlock T.T? I dont have a save pac so i cant save my ghosts
