  • I am broken hearted. I spent hours working on making several different buttons and fired them for the 1/2 hour and they cooled for 2 days tonight I tried filing and varnishing them and they break! What did I do wrong? How can I fix this> I returned them to the oven for 10 min and will try again tonight. PLEASE let me know what I can do so this doesn't happen again. I crochet towels and thought this would be an awesome way to make mine stand out in the crowd!! TY for reading.

  • @ahtrocker It is called polymer clay. It can be found at Michaels, Jo Annes Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, and most craft stores. It can be bought in many different brands, such as Sculpey III, Premo, Premo Accents, Fimo, and Craftmart. I recommend Sculpey III and Premo, they are the softest and easiest to work with. Hope i helped!
