Aung Yin - Burmese Sweetheart (Ma-Chit-Suu) dedicated to Burma's Hero and Prisoner Aung San Suu Kyi

I was hesitant to sing this song to dedicate to Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi because of the upbeat music, especially in her troubling time. But then, the name of the song Ma-Chit-Suu contains a reference to her name "Suu" and the lyrics remind us of how she is loved by her adoring supporters inside and outside of Burma. In Burma, people do not mention her real name because saying her name could mean a jail time. So, people refer to her as the Lady. When I was in Burma, I remember some people used Ma-Chit-Suu as a secret word to refer to her.

Please show your love to this frail woman for her courage to stand up for the people of Burma and democracy.

We really really really need a nice song to celebrate her beauty, her courage, her dedication to Burma, her passion for democracy and her symbol of peaceful protest! I can tell you more about her if you want. :) Part of the problem with Burma is that not many people know about the country because we have not gotten enough media coverage.

For example, for Africa, lots of celebrities are on the issue. But we don't hear much about Burma in media. Though Tibet is not far from Burma, Dali Lama has brought the world's attention on Tibet at least 10 times more.
