Liu He Bafa performed by Huang Shuoting. This was filmed by the Chinese government and was for some reason labled "Top Secret" in the beginning of the clip.
Very interesting. Read about Liuhebafa in Wikipedia, and came searching for its videos.
This looks pretty much like a cross between Taichi and Bagua - certain movements here seem very similar to some of those in the two. A Taichi or Bagua practitioner would probably see what i mean.
More movements does not translate to more martial applications, although Bloomberg108 is correct that many taiji players think its like Yoga and have no concept of the combat-applicability of true Taijiquan
It's not the number of moves that distinguishes Liu He Ba Fa (Six Harmonies Eight Methods) from Tai Chi, but the internal requirements and the specific training programme. It is certainly not true that Liu He Ba Fa has more martial applications than Tai Chi, though it is probably the case that the few remaining Liu He Ba Fa practitioners have more martial skills than the numerous Tai Chi hobbyists, given that Tai Chi has become diluted through popularisation.

Liu he ba fa has more moves than Tai Chi (about 300 I think), and more martials applications.
It's not the same, the moves are differents.

I'm sorry, I'm not into this but to me it looks just like Tai Chi - how can you tell the difference?
