My arrangement of a gorgeous piano solo from Mendelssohn's Lieder ohne Worte (songs without words). D string tuned down to a B.
some harmonizations may not be correct; I did this by ear.
Apologies to anyone who loves Mendelssohn or classical music in general, particularly Mr. C Whit Blount.

  • Excellent, always love to see one of your vids in my inbox.

Btw- What is that just above your right elbow on the shelf, the thing that's moving, is it a clock? (Sorry, easily distracted.....)

  • @Dingotech2000 tanks so much!

it's actually a little Chinese trinket--a gold cat with a waving arm that my sister got me in Chinatown NYC. It's pure kitsch, but i like it.

  • I'm so jealous! I wish I could give you 100 stars but it only goes to 5. Thank you for your beautiful music! :)

  • Amazing Josh - that is quite awesome - quite a scary tune to try and also a most sombre piece, and a long way from some of your more jolly offerings

  • that was so cool, sounded beautiful.

i think the steel strings made it sound a little like harpsichord.
