DX7 Dual Rate and Expo

ok here's my situation, I've set up my dr/expo and everything is as it should be,th stunt 1,2,and hold are inh,th throws and expo transfer across each channel setting,...now the only thing that seems not quite right is th throttle up on st1,2,...so I decided to switch st1,2 inh to act,...and sure enough th throttle up was there,but as soon as I took it up it didn't seem that expo was there to help me out,lol...I understand its a high rate but how can I soften th middle and still maintain thrott

@cafediablo30 Just to make sure - in all of your stunt modes, by flicking the switch while on the Expo screen, you DID see the Expo as you wanted to, right? Since I'm not there it's sometimes hard to tell, I just want to make sure your expo is set for all modes (because you can make it so that expo changes based on your stunt mode).

is it true that the DX7 is going to be replaced kind of like the DX6 was replaced with the DX6i?

@Rcflyyer1 From what I currently understand the DX7 *is* discontinued now. Looks like they're going the DX8 and DX6i route, with the future DSMX upgrades. I hear rumors of something in higher channels coming out, but that could lead to a whole Spektrum / JR partnership shift.

when i go into system list for the acro. i cant select anything. please help

@mrperryguitar I'd suggest browsing the first few pages of the manual when it comes to menu navigation. Even after owning one for some time, my fingers still forget which button selects a different menu item compared to which option changes values.

eureka, I finally figured my problem,its th tx,I'm using a walkera 2801,simila in appearance to th dx7,I disconnected my motor to watch th servos,set dr/expo, and it indicated auto but it only transfers th idle up and not th dr/expo, and th individual elev and aileron switches work to switch off dr/expo no matter if th auto is in inh or active,I think I'll be ok for now at my level of flying, but I might invest in a better tx later, or grow biomechanical fingers for th exact dial in I'll need.

@egomike88 Mike, I apologize, the holidays and all have kept me busy. The Bind N Fly (BNF) version of the MSR will work just fine with this transmitter, speaking from personal experience.
