This particular video is just crude drawings in Corel Paint, then I imported the jpgs into Sony Vegas and swap them around, frame by frame. If you understand the process I just explained, you can do the same.

Anybody can do something like this with the stuff that comes with Windows (Microsoft Paint and Microsoft Movie Maker). or mac stuff, whatever.

If you do not understand what I'm talking about, you need to learn about animation.

@scrutewb - have u seen before notebookbabies? Do you think that was hand-drawn on paper first, then captured into the pc? Or how do y0u think it was done?

I think that notebookbabies is done with a computer, but very much made to look like it's done with colored pencils. Not hard to accomplish with the right software. The main give away is that the paper background is "stationary" while all the characters are completely alpha-channeled. If it were real paper, he would never bother with ruled notebook paper cuz it wouldn't match up like that. There are some other give aways, but I'd have to point them out.
