He kind of reminds me of Ricker from American Chopper

Nobody does a ballad like Steve Perry. I was thrilled to be able to see Journey several times in the 80's. Amazing! Thank you for sharing this beautiful recording. God bless.

@NoSteveHasReturned What a pathetic piece of work you are. I gave you way to much credit to think that one day you would have grown up.

I love bands where the lead singer has an interesting voice such as AC/DC, The Police, Dire Straits etc. Then there is Steve Perry..the only real singer from my list of fave bands who can sing but to perfection. He is just far too good and the 1981 DVD is proof of his utter brilliance. How they can continue with other singsers god knows because they will just be no other better singer than him. With out Steve and Smith the band is pretty much pointless

Posted on TuneLab website in July: Steve Perry is working on a solo album at Dave Grohl's 606 Studio in L.A. (Dave G: formerly with Nirvana, drummer & guitarist; then & now with FooFighters--if you saw him I'm sure you'd recognize him.)CD may be released in February 2010. Steve did a radio interview on July 20 with CBC (Canada), the dj stated that Steve was working on a solo album.
