  • Hmm, what's the difference between this and ExF?

  • @DarkArckana The "sem-auto" battle

    system makes keeping your distance

tough. When you press "attack" most

swordsman have to go for a jog

first. Otherwise it probably wouldn't be

so bad to use characters like Kyle to take

on multiple enemies. He could actually

    surprise opponents with his indirect

    range.

  • @DarkArckana Actually, I would put Kratos

above Lloyd. Reid is a bit powerful

but a but sluggish, so unless you keep your

distance you're going to get caught off guard.

I think what makes Cless unique is his

    "Zig-Zag" straightforward battle style. It

doesn't go too high off the ground, uses

one sword and starts attacking right away.

No other tales character seems to have

    this battle style.

  • I mean skill wise. I forget which one, but one Tales Games "Lightening Tiger Blade" was considered "The Ultimate Attack" for a Swordsman. I think it was "Tales of Legendia". I've also played "Tales of The World: Nariki Dungeon 3" for GBA and compared Cless with some of the other swordsman by putting them on a single team. Cless, Stahn, and Lloyd seem to be in a league of their own. Kyle's attacks are too disconnected, so he's left open too frequently.

  • @lionheart99 I mean in general. I've

played TOP for GBA and I've compared

him with some of the other swordsman.

He can be pretty broken. He's also the last

opponent in tournament in some of the

Tales Games. Where can I find some

    match-up charts?

  • I think he deserves more credit than that. I think he's actually pretty good. He can even boarder on uber in the right hands. Especially if you're using "Jigen-tou" (Distortion Blade), "Hell Pyre" and "Sword Rain" with proper timing.
