Getting top Bush admin officials, and even Bush himself, convicted on war crimes charges would destroy the Republican Party forever. I don't think permanent 1-party rule would be a good thing, but it would make it easy to enact all of the one party's policies.

I agre! One party rule nearly destroyed our country and it can happen from either side of the aisle! However, I would like to see the GOP continue what they are doing so that we can get some responsible reforms in place.

The GOP will have to modernize of gay rights; women's rights; and the enviro before they gain any ground...The religious zealots and the rich & greedy have fallen out of touch with America and they simply do not see it yet!
