This isnt dragon quest 9!

This is the first RPG I've got into in a long time. It's highly addictive, and the plot isn't too shabby either!

This is a sick game,i'm still stuck at corvus.

I just wish this game would be available on X box 360 and/or PS3.
-
everybody nintendo invented joysticks, motion controlls and in a very early console (not the 3ds) it was 3d so its definent gaming wouldnt be where it is without nintendo
-
I hate it when the handhelds end up getting good games. I would much rather play it on the ps3 or xbox 360 anyday. Oh well, at least DS games are very easy to find and very small downloads. Thank god there is NO$GBA :DDD (I always pay for console and most pc games though, but fck the handhelds)

Nintendo Rules! Best Game Ever! Nintendo Rules Full Stop.

@anders1245 reason is.. ps3 and xbox 360 ect.. they cost more then stuff like ds. and well ds you can bring with you.. but mostly the money factor.. thats why
-
@anders1245 ha the ds is the best selling anything. thats y nintendo os dominant. thay give hardcore with mario/zelda/pokemon and also hark to kids with other things.
I don't know where you get your info, but there aren't any statistics available for how many gamers from last generation have bought a Wii. The only thing we know for certain is that the Wii is selling more than the PS3 and 360 combined (it's already nearing 50 million, while the PS3 is in a distant 3rd place at under 20 million). As for the DS, NOTHING is doing as well as the DS, for regular games or otherwise. It's at 97 million units sold, compared to 43 for the PSP and 27 for the 360.

You don't want cinematics in your 'Dragon QUEST' (let's use the official Japanese name if we're going to be fanboys about this)?! Graphics and cutscenes do not make up the heart and soul of a great game.
Dragon Quest doesn't need to be 8-Bit to be true to itself and DQVIII was every bit as 'Dragon Quest'-y as any other entry in the series. I'm all for purism when it comes to this series, but a modern flair or two is not a problem as long as the core gameplay is left alone.
