@bigace559818 Capcom originally wanted to end the MegaMan series at X6, but thanks to the overwhelming fanbase they continued the series. But it's no big surprise if all this time they've really been building up the MegaMan storyline to a close sooner or later. The death of X, and finally Zero, were already huge signs that they were going to end the series soon.
