In this week's update Jason Whitton Founder of Positive Real Estate discusses how to legally get tax down to $0 using property as the vehicle. As a PAYG earner you can claim the tax on building depreciation schedule.
I'd hate to break it to you buddy, but Monday Tuesday and Wednesday would be a 60% flat tax. Income tax, or any other tax administrated by the ATO doesn't even come close to that.
@dannyinaus If only money did grow on trees. Unfortunately the defense of our country, nor our police force, judicatory etc can't be privatised. Nor can the cost repairing the damage to public infrastructure due to the Queensland floods and other similar disasters. There is a private sphere and a public one. We all need to pull our weight financially for our collective good. Yes there is government waist regardless of the party in power. Yet the good of government our weighs the bad.
@MrPincoNico yes, and I wonder what would happen if the government didn't spend all OUR money on wars, pollies big pay cheques, free travel and lunches etc. Not to mention the millions wasted on public works that go belly up due to incompetent planners (insulation bats anyone?). So it is NOT our fault, and NOT our responsibility to pay for all those things. A well managed government could afford all those things and have enough left over to hand back! And we get nothing from the mines...
If you weren't paying blindly into an inefficient government system, perhaps you wouldn't be forced to rely on handouts to afford a decent education and health care for your kids.
check how much money you earn, how much money you need to borrow, your living expenses before doing what he mention.
My mum is Chinese and is a moron. she wants me to buy a place in Canberra and rent it out. I calculated from past experience that if i purchase a good looking property I would need to borrow at least $350,000 from the bank.
I will have very little money to live off COMFORTABLY.
THINK about your financial state before doing this. keep money for rainy day
