The song "Blame it on the samba" without singers' voices.
It's not an oficial intrumental version. It was edited by me, and I think it's good.

  • @That1BrazilianBITCH dont let that stop you, show them this now so can remember it forever and so is never lost in time or forgotten

  • loved it, wished i could show the toddlers at the center but the cigar and the bomb at the end kinda doesnt allow me! darn it disney! lol!

  • I like the song but without all the talking. Thanks for uploading it like this ;)

  • Ya just gotta love the Aracuan Bird ;)

  • @NeighborhoodTank The only other Disney film where I recall seeing Jose Carioca is "The Three Caballeros". You might want to try there.

  • As this film was made circa 1948 and released as mono sound - well before general stereo sound in movies the uploader must have had access to the original tracks laid in for the final mix. (I'm a sound mixer in the film industry retired) Very interesting and a great pity more of the original sound components of old movies were not archived - generally only the final mix release track and maybe a M & E track (which this could be) to allow foreign voices to be overlaid - a classic

  • Neat! How did you remove the voices? Frequency elimination? I notice that the very high portions of the 'Ss' got through. Pretty cool, though. I've heard of people eliminating the voice on stereo passages where the voice is in the center, by phase inversion.

  • does anyone know what short or movie it is where jose carioca makes women out of cigar smoke, and donald attempts the same thing?

  • Just extraordinary.

  • whhhhoooooo thx so much i try to find this disney with ethel smith since 20 years !!!!!
