If america wants to be competitive they need to try and keep its talent pool and not force them to move abroad. @cristoretornebiblia What is happening is many of the foreign people in places like Silicon Valley and the tech industry in america are not heading back to Asia or Africa and americans did not retrain the new generation that is why companies are in a downfall. You must always have a trained workforce and encourage to keep them, what is the point of encouraging foreign students to study in america if you simply let them leave, you want to keep the talent by paying higher wage

@burnstagger This is the problem and I doubt you have done a lot of traveling abroad. I see many americans do now own a passport and I encourage them to travel to Asia and Africa and the BRIC countries to see for yourself the advancements in technology and research they are contributing. Sure they have a long way to go but its a start. 2. You sound like the english talking about the once empire, your american centric worldview is not revelant in this era because of competionoutside

@cristoretornebiblia Nonsense. A few Americans are going to India because NASSCOM and Wipro, etc want us to TRAIN the morons over there. The rest of us wouldn't want to go to India. Who would want to live in a country which smells like a toilet from one coast to the other? Kodak went bankrupt because it outsourced to India, just like GM, Lehman, Bell Labs, and Fannie Mae - all ruined by incomoetent foreign labor.

@cristoretornebiblia Can you please name one new industry or invention to come from Asia in the past 200 years? No, you can't because there are none. They were all invented right here in the US. Don't confuse competition with INDUSTRIAL THEFT, which is what Asia is doing. Can you name the commercial operating system from India or China anyone uses? No you can't because that doesn't exist either. Some 'competition'. LOL.

@cristoretornebiblia Americans can't move to other countries, especially those such as India and China which protect their own workforces and don't allow mass immigration. You make it sound so easy but in reality, that option doesn't exist for Americans. We invented everything the world enjoys including jobs. Now let's see the world run the economy without the US. Seems you are having a pretty hard time of it.

You're obviously unfamiliar with the concept of theft and how wrong it is. Americans have woken up to the lies of Asia and the rest of the world who have been robbing us for 100 years. We're done. Let China or India create the next new industry - if they can. Then WE will take that from THEM.

I did see a report a few months ago and it was Americans going to countries like India, South Africa and other areas of Asia to find employment in the IT sector. I like this type of attitude. My girlfriend originally Swedish/German did her training at a Hospital in London and 90% of her friends that worked were from abroad. In the business world and in every economy everything is constantly changing, take the example of Kodak they invented digital images but did not use on the opportunity
