  • Wonderful Schwarzkopf examples- and Moore. Thank you.

  • Thank you for listening!

  • Schwarzkopf was a very fine artist with a great gift for characterisation through diction and tonal colour, qualities that are strongly in evidence here. Moore, as always, provides a sympathetic accompaniment. Thankyou for ten + minutes of sheer pleasure!

  • ...yes,she has that - so called - certain something that can´t be learned.

Christa Ludwig called her a pied piper, well,a great compliment i guess.Elisabeth Schwarzkopf...her beautiful velvety voice, the musical intelligence combined to a certain aura and personality, unique i only can say.

    I love her! :-)
