There is no decrease in travel. The stock 1 inch lowering is taken out via a shock clevis, and the YamaLink has an increased leverage ratio which does not decrease suspension.

Obviously a better rider can out start a lesser rider no matter the bike, but with equal riders the much lighter YZ125 two stroke would have a clear advantage on most surfaces. Although the WR250R, with its torque and easy to launch traits, would be a worthy opponent.

Yes, the kickstand can come completely off.
The F is the dirt model, the X is the motard and the R is the dualsport.

Hi. The spring is already preloaded by the shock collar and therefore does not require additional preload before tightening the lockring. The YamaLink lowers the rear of the WR250R/X approx. 2 inches. In our testing we found that more than 2 inches would not give a balanced ride; the forks can be safely raised in the triple clamps 1.25 inches without bar risers. A lowering rocker like the one we build for the WR250F is overkill and costs almost twice as much, hence the R and X's connect rod.

dont you need to preload the suspension before tightening the nuts? also how much does this lower?
