Samsung promised an official Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the Galaxy S II which should land, according to the manufacturer, sometime this quarter, but we've recently seen an official Google Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM being leaked. We're taking a look at that ROM in this video.

  • I love the S2 but the default wallpaper is fucking ugly.

  • I am strongly considering buying this phone. The only thing holding me back is, in my research I haven't seen evidence of playing facebook flash games 'via browser', eg: cityville, sim social & idle worship (my fav' games aren't android apps as yet). :(

    .

I'd need to see some proof of loading & gameplay (on this phone using both gingerbread & ICS). If 'anyone' can please point me to some (hd) videos that shows this clearly, ASAP, I will be very estatic & 'will' definitely buy it. :D

  • i like it Cell of more brother

  • I heard If you download if from kies if might void your warranty

  • share? you can download it via KIES ;)

  • SHARE!!! PLEASE!!

  • I've got 4.0.3 LPS (official) on my galaxy s2

  • Running 4.0.3 - quite stable!

  • Ur right, I mean I know u dont hav2 use it. Its just the fact that its implemented n2 the software using unnecessary RAM was my point. U said just as smooth but if u use the Epic Touch browser side by side w/the HTC Evos the HTC's lack of GPU acceleration becomes extremely noticeable. Not near as fluid. Even the original Epic's browser is a lot smoother than the newer Evo 3d. I like HTC's devices, they're the reason I switched 2android but Samsung is the reason I'm staying.

  • Well, you don't have to do the carousel thing do you? Sense is just as fluid and has just as nice Widgets.

Besides, Sense has just been slimmed down a whole lot in the latest 4.0 version seen on the newest 'One' devices.
