Mr. Malibu interviewed world-renowned music producer and legend David Foster and television star Lisa Rinna at Malibu's fundraiser to help the Japanese tsunami victims in dire need. David Foster told Mr. Malibu that he is speaking with the Japanese government about doing a much larger fundraiser soon. Mr. Malibu inquired if any of David Foster's artists have done a tsunami song, thinking that perhaps one would serve as a major fundraiser. Foster said he wasn't aware of one so far. However, he did comment on the Malibu event saying that it served as a dual-purpose event to give some of the young talent an opportunity to showcase their talent while serving to inspire fundraising for this most urgent cause of our suffering Japanese friends.

Mr. Malibu asked Lisa Rinna if she played an instrument, and she said she plays a little piano, but nothing enough to get up and perform. She expressed how proud she is of Kenny G's son Max G who she has watched grow up. She was impressed that Max had taken it upon himself to produce the event with his friends in the fundraising effort. Kenny G and Max G performed with other outstanding musicians to play "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder. Max broke out into a dynamic and high energy lead guitar riff and was followed by his father Kenny G on the saxophone performing his icon soloist leads bringing even more electricity to the captivating tune.

Other amazing performances included Jordan Seah, The James Burnett Band, Benjamin Krausner, Ren Martinez, and Sophie Gelate. Event supporters included Malibu High School, Boys and Girls Club of Malibu, Artist Masha Kartavenkova, and the participating stores Kitson, Maxfield, Intermix, La Perla, Chocolate Box Café, and Alice + Olivia all made financial contributions.
