  • so beautiful!

  • I'm 37 and I like Billy Eckstine.

  • 10/20/10 EVERY SO OFTEN I CATCH ONE OR ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL RECORDING SUCH AS YOU, MILLS BROTHERS, HAVE POSTED. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING TO LIFE THESE LONG LOST WONDERFUL VOICES FROM HEAVEN. TOO BAD, TODAY, THE YOUTH OF THE WORLD IS HUNG UP ON THE CURRENT SINGERS WHO CANNOT HOLD A CANDLE TO THE VOICES OF YESTERDAY, WHEN YOU COULD UNDERSTAND ALL THE LYRICS, AND ALSO BECAUSE THE LYRICS TOLD A STORY. THANKS AGAIN. roselli

  • Man what childhood memories did u just bring back. My dad had this LP and use to play it every weekend! I totally forgot about this LP!! Thanks!

  • Hey dudes, it's time to bring back the heroic, manly-man, guy sound of BARITONES -- with Mr. B. at the front of the parade of voices like Joe Williams, Arthur Prysock, Al Hibbler, Johnny Hartman, Lou Rawls, Milt Grayson, and, of course, Ray Charles. And a terrific bebop singer out of Birmingham Alabama named Calvin McCreavan -- who's unrecorded as far as I know, but as good as any of them.

  • I may have heard the song "Maybe Today" before. I don't remember when or by whom.....but I'll sure remember hearing Mr.B's rendition always. He's at his best. Thanks for this wonderful clip.

  • That's for not only Mr. B, but bringing new light on Motown recordings that (in my opionion) should be readily available to buy.

  • I think all these Motown tunes by Mr. B are from 1965 off his "Prime Of My Life" LP!

  • Does anyone have "I apologize" by Billy Eckstine to post? It is my favorite song by my favorite singer.

  • I'll be singing, "The prime of my life" in a couple of years!
