This is my Victorian dollhouse, 'Lynton Hall'. It recently featured in 'The Doll House Magazine'. My uncle built it from scratch. It started life as a sheet of 8 x 4 MDF. The house was becoming neglected so I decided to take it on. I researched the Victorian era and decorated and furnished it in this style, making some of the accessories and food myself. When the house was electrified it came to 'life'. I then persuaded my uncle to open up the attic, build a side extension and a basement, with garden. It then became 'Lynton Hall'. I am constantly adding little 'finishing touches' to give it that 'lived in' look. The only problem I have with the house is the chandelier on the landing ceiling which likes to swing to and fro by itself now and again, maybe it's got somehting to do with the ghost that resides in one of the attic rooms! I hope you like it and please feel free to comment.

Thank you for your comments. I don't know exactly how much it all cost as it took me a few years to complete - although I am still adding to it all the time. My uncle built the house from scatch about 10 years ago - the wood cost £40. Keep me up to date with your house. xx
