Panasonic DMC-TS2 HD Sample - Overcast

Had some people asking for overcast samples because the lighting is not always perfect for HD capture.

This is a rainy day.. it was a heavy mist during both clips. Filmed with a Panasonic DMC-TS1 Digital camera in 720p @59.97 (Double NTSC) frames per second.

These were put into Sony Vegas Pro 9 and rendered to WMV at 12Mbit 720p @ 59.97fps. The quality drop wasnt noticeable, and youtube will be the more noticeable degrading source.

The sound for this camera is much better than my previous Kodak M1033, which distorted vert easily. This camera tones the volume level fast and smoothly. However, during zoom, you can hear it partially mute sound to avoid motor noise.

@benhenderson636 I do otherwise the files are huge. Sony vegas is easy to edit and output videos in .mp4 format or .wmv in HD

In Canada this camera costs around $400

and i am really having a tough time justifying

spending that much cash on a waterproof

camera when i could go get a fuji xp10 for $170

is it really worth paying over double just for a

couple other features?
