  • @mmoyer208 It says "All-Reserved Coach" but that means that you had to buy a ticket/make a reservation before boarding. As for where you sit, it's first come-first serve. The "All-Reserved" system has actually made it more difficult for many passengers (especially on the Northeast Corridor) because in the olden days, you used to just be able to buy a ticket and get on a train if there was room.

  • I mean the 4:43 mark.

  • Great Video!!!! This past October I took a train from Elizabetown to NYC. Stayed at a motel right next to the tracks past Rheems Interlocking around the 4:25 mark. Around midnight a NS train came up the #1 track and was doing switching at the siding. I had a hard time sleeping for the rest of the night. Could here the engine and them banging the cars.

  • on amtrak, is there assigned seating? like if you are in coach class, can you sit anywhere in a coach car?

  • what i dont understand is the train faces the right way leaving NY but faces the wrong way leaving Philadelphia. because going west u back track through zoo interlocking to head towards harrisburg. how do they do that?
