I hope I covered everything! :)

I have discovered (thx to a kind comment) that MAC no longer carries a lot of these colors w/their paint pots SO, you can find something similar with Urban Decay & here's the link!! The main difference is their cream shadows are "buildable" meaning they go on with a thinner consistency BUT they will not crease & they're a great product)
http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/CreamEyeshadow.cfm

Sephora is having what's called a "sweet steal" with Benefit's creaseless cream shadows while supplies last & only in stores!!!

The cost is only $10 for 2 of their cream shadows but they're in a special package near the register & they're NOT part of Benefit's regular collection. My understanding from the Sephora rep is once they're sold out they're done. So head over to your nearest Sephora to check it out! :)

If you are interested in trying samples that will last you a long time please head on over to:

www.makeupgeek.com

Click on her "store" tab to find the many MAC paint pots (among other wonderful things!) sample size just right for you to use. It's a GREAT way to save $$ while trying out a great product. I purchase from her as well & I have NOTHING negative to say about the service, prices or anything! You receive PLENTY of product for the price you pay, it's worth every penny.

The main differences between MAC & Benefit are:
1. MAC has a wide array of colors both matte & shimmer
2. Benefit doesn't, they have only shimmer in their permanent collection
3. PRICE: Benefit costs more $19 versus MAC's $16.50 & MAC had .50 grams more product
4. Overall I would go for MAC...they have a reputation for a reason! ;-)
5. Don't forget, if you live in a warm climate or tend you have oily lids ALWAYS put a light coating of primer (like urban decay primer potion or 2-faced shadow insurance) on prior to a paint pot or creaseless cream shadow so it won't crease over time.

Thanks so much for watching & comment below or shoot me an e-mail if you have any further questions. :)

I truly hope this has helped!

  • how come all your paint pots are all dug out?

  • @andiebear1515 LOL, b/c being a makeup artist I have to dig out what I need for sanitary reasons. If I worked on someone, for example, that had pink eye but we didn't know it b/c it wasn't symptomatic right then the result would be me contaminating my container w/the bacteria (then I would spread it to other clients). I have also given out samples to friends/subscribers....:)

  • if you have oily eyelids.....they ALLLLLLLLLLLL suck. i tried them all and they are worst

  • @itismebutterfly Have you tried Urban Decay Primer potion or Too faced shadow insurance? Usually a think coat of that will work under these paint pots or cream shadows OR MAC's paints work really well on oily lids. ;) ...just a suggestion...if you want to try them shoot me an e-mail & I can send you a sample!

  • I like the Benefit Creaseless Creme shadows better. I think they are easier to apply(: haha

  • @melanieheartsyou1 thx for the comment & yes, they are both nice, just depends on what look you're going for. :) I love them all!

  • @For2une2000 without primer, which one lasts longer without creasing, Benefit or MAC?

  • Question, I do have an oily-sensitive skin (T-zone and chin area) but I don't think I have oily lids. Thing is, I've been eyeing on both products. I'm just not sure if I should go for Benefit or Mac's. I'm not sure either if these products will work out for me. I hope you could help me out? :)

  • I love the benefit creaseless creme shadows much better than the Mac ones. I have three of the benefit for over a year and they continue to be smooth and so easy the blend. Whereas the Mac ones I bought two and three months later all dried up and hard to blend. I do wear shadow insurance and they do not crease.

  • i went and swatched all the benefit ones today and was gonna get Recess... its non shimmery and its a great skintone one good for everyday as a base so yes most a shimmery but that one is good for neutral looks

  • @For2une2000 may i have a sample? i have oily eyelids as well and i just bought stiletto yesterday at macy's but it was 18 dollars :/ thats already too much for me since im on a budget with college expense. and it looked beautiful! but then in the then in like 2 hours i saw a bit of a crease line. :/ i wanted to try mac paintpots like that "delt"? color your tried from mac. i want to know which on is better so that i can maybe return on and get the other. :/

  • I use a primer under all of the eyeshadows I wear. My husband jojes that I need a jackhammer to take it off at night!

  • i have oily lids, but ive been using milk of magnesium as a primer and then put my painterly on after my lids dry dries. i love indian wood, well the color. unfortunately i havent tried it yet. it looks gorgeous!

  • Hey there, I've been Wanting to try Mac Paint pots for awhile. I don't have a MAC counter anywhere near me, so I have to order online. But I don't know if I'll like it, would it be selfish of me to ask for some samples of your various paint pots? I would really like to try them, please let me know! thank you. :D
