  • by saying that those people are successful even though they left college makes them outliers in contemporary society; they are definitely not the norm. Most people do not have the desire, intellect, curiosity, as those individuals

  • @hudsonjamesc That is due to the artificial barriers our society has created. Only the geniuses and creative individuals make it through them because they don't play by the same rules. In fact, our society wars against the creative types.. because they want them to jump through the same bureaucratic hoops they do.

  • @hudsonjamesc Many more people would excel.. in a host of jobs if we jettisoned our ignorant civilization's notions about learning. Knowledge belongs to all not just to people who have money to fork out to educational institutions that yield mediocre returns. Intelligence, desire, and curiosity should be promoted in society not privileged status based on paper.

  • "It doesn't matter where you get knowledge, it just matters that you have knowledge" ..So true..If you want to learn programming, just download a python interpreter or c++ compiler and read some tutorials on internet and look at example source code...All of this is free..

Agreed but sadly due to "self esteem" nazis brainwashing kids, everyone thinks they are "special". Sadly only less than 1% are "the gifted", an probably 1% of those gifted make something special with their lives. Also everyone has been brainwashed with "success stories", you need to achieve to amount to something, yet the living standards of today are a million times better than 100 years ago. Some dude living in his B-ment playing video games is living the life of kings.

  • I think that you have some good ideas here, and I'd love to see them implemented. However, with the millions and millions of dollars being generated by the loan racket (and thus all the lobbying money available to universities) it's unlikely to happen. With education, you can work outside the system, but probably not within it.

  • I actually agree with you. American education costs too much, but the good thing that if you're graduated, you can make enough money to pay your debt out. Great video!
