This is the first prototype (made of DIY materials). Joris Beets is demonstrating the features. Martin Luxen is handling the oscilloscope for extra cool scientific effects. But doesn't really do anything.
This video shows the first working prototype of the V-Beat AirDrums. It was shot in the first two or three weeks of the development. it was the first time the prototype actually worked, I think. To us, a historical moment ;-) The drum sticks are wooden sticks with sensors attached to them with duct tape, more sensors are attached to Joris' wrists. Pretty basic stuff, but it shows the potential of the V-Beat AirDrums quite well.
