  • "Subduction Zone" means the land is sinking... not the seas rising. This is total nonsense by folks who are completely scientifically illiterate.

  • @pferdflecker Actually , it might. If Global Warming exists , it might melt the ice caps which would lead to elevated sea levels. Just because you don't believe in a theory , doesn't mean that you can call them idiots. Unless they are religious idiots.

  • Nonsense. This island sits atop a subduction zone between two colliding tectonic plates. The land is subsiding in this zone quite rapidly. This has nothing to do with global warming. What a bunch of idiots.
