@nonrepublicrat Maybe I wasn't clear enough. If one are campaigning for liberty (doing political, therefore public, acts), one should not mix religion in it, precisely to preserve the right of everyone to his own way of living (which might include religion or not). If I see a politician speaking about his religion, I immediately feel like I don't belong to his club.
It's named "Campaign for Liberty", and if you want religious liberty you should keep personal religion outside of politics. JM2C

why is it "a huge turn off"?? what do you care if he thinks our rights come from God, as was stated in the declaration of independence?? just maybe he is right. you think you know that he is wrong, but you really don't, because nobody is capable of proving the non-existence of something. just be glad there are people who want you to enjoy liberty and don't worry about how it is that they believe so. christophobia is a waste of your energy.

@gphhawkins The key word being all LIFE evolves. A rock cannot become alive. Evolutionary thinking applies to things like new dog breeds, but if you try to explain the origin of life or humans with it, it makes no sense at all.

@TheVampirella I welcome well meaning atheist to support Ron Paul even if it is out of a degenerated world view. Understand, the Christians are not out of place with Paul. He has openly professed to be a born-again Christian and understands the fundamentals of freedom. Understanding which eludes the mind of atheists. Our Life, Liberty, and Property are rights given by the CREATOR.
Chuck Baldwin was the Constitution party candidate in '08 and take a guess who endorsed him instead of Bob Barr? RP!
