I just found these two songs on an old betamax tape I recorded back in 1985! I saw her on this tour and she was amazing. She invited the audience to ask her questions. A very personable and classy lady. I asked her if the almost floor length string of pearls she was wearing were real - she said "No honey, but I have some just as long back home that are!"

  • Peggy Lee could make it cool or sizzle.I always took great pleasure in hearing a song unfold under her spell.

  • Peggy had endured health problems most of her adult life. She refused to lie down to ill health and fought back every time. She suffered respitory and heart problems from time to time.

    I photographed her in Glasgow during this period, she was a true superstar of her generation and a joy to watch in concert, she stayed backstage an hour after the show to sign autographs for fans. She was a delight to meet and left you feeling you had met greatness...which I had

  • @dannys2222 Peggy Lee had Bell's Palsy and had to have work done on her face.She did not have a face lift.
