I agree with you. People, please keep in mind that songs are often "better" when sung in a foreign language. For me, the french version is quite bad,however a lot of people enjoy it,and it's understandable. It's unusual for your ears, and so you don't pay attention to elocution specificities you can't reach unless being quite fluent. I won't say this version particularly sucks,it's very nice to me,though when earing it carefully,I find similarities with the french version I dislike
