As far as I know their roots are greatly influenced by the Indian rhythms. In fact they treasure their roots just fine as these ARE their roots.

I don't get why they recite and use South Indian rhythms and not rhythms from their own cultural background. In my opinion they should treasure their own roots and persian music heritage more.
