Tech can't play on the road. Oklahoma is near undefeated in Norman under Stoops. If you thought Tech had a chance you're crazy. Oklahoma wasn't 44 points better, but they did have a better team.

@jlinraider Quit making excuses to why your sorry program cant beat OU in Norman. All you have to do Tech is win,that's all you have to do, and OU's undefeated home record will come to an end and people will shut up.

But Tech can't do that, because y'all don't care about beating OU in Norman or winning championships ,all y'all care about is beating Texas like a bunch of Aggies ,but unlike the aggies, y'all can beat Texas in Austin either.

Anyway..UT wouldn't have gone to title game if they'd played in Norman this year ...and that would've been terrible. OU and UT have national titles because of this one game IN DALLAS!! It must feel good going to bed at night knowing you don't have to play your biggest rival in their house...EVER!!!! Great teams lose on the road in hostile environments..starting a "tradition" was just a clever way to eliminate one of these games, which is ur biggest rival..what a crock of shit!!

You know...the thing that OU/UT people fail to mention is this..OU will NEVER have to play in Austin, and UT will NEVER have to play in Norman. Home field advantage is huge!

The people from OU & UT back in the day were smart for starting the game in Dallas..its not cause of money, exposure, or any of that...its so the stronger teams dont lose bc of something like home field adavantage. OU/UT hide behind the RRR. Do you think UT would've won in Norman this year?..or ever for that matter?

Honesty, Oklahoma were not 44 points better than tech in 08'. Tech beat Oklahoma 34-27 the previous year, and this year upset Texas when they were #1 and beat Oklahoma State. I am not saying they would have won, but it wouldn't be a 44 point game.
