I totally overstand that almost every community that consists of people of color is like this so you do not need to put ridiculous comments about how every single so-called "black" community is like this. I'm just using my old hood as just one example of how there plenty of churches but failed businesses in our community and how things need to change. My reason for making this video is to expose the many examples of how the inner-city or "black" community is surrounded by so many successful religious institutions who can never find the solution to help the very same community that has so much success for decades.

  • Just goes to show just how lost Blacks are. Pastors are the New Pimps! Look how many women are in the church vs men. Black women that dont have men have Pastor.

  • @Fujisuka The pastors of the inner-city were never the new pimps b/c they were ALWAYS pimping our communities for years so their pimp game isn't new.

  • U cant be all spiritual and no worldly those things have to be balanced (ying yang mantra in life). U have to be partially worldly to be aware of the people and things going on around u, gotta solve how u come up from barely having anything. And your spiritual can be that which makes u strong, soulful, and maintain morality. I mean ppl these day to know how to balance it out. They eiather too worldly, or too spiritual

  • @MsRoyalTreasure A true spiritual person is fully aware of the things around them b/c the spirit that they're in tuned with will open their eyes to it. Most of our people who enter into these churches are not spiritual, they're religious and there is a very big difference between the two.

  • I see only one church in the white community no wonder they so damn rich. I agree were you coming from Wacky. We need an economy not anymore churches, we give they don't give back.

  • The WM knows that the pastor/churches PACIFY the deaf, dumb and blind and was set up KEEP us deaf, dumb and blind. Church ain't putting no money in nobodies pocket, is not bringing no worldly knowledge/awareness to the congregation, no economical plan, etc...I was asked was I going to church for christmas...I said, "Hell naw, for what !!" but we got our ppl stuck on stupid because their foreparents lived in/by the church...OK!! and that means what!!?

  • So glad I got out of the church when I did...........smh

    That's right. Str8 truth

  • Yes, singing songs in Church, or any other kind of religious preoccupation, will in no way help us to address our problems in society. In fact, such preoccupation is avoidant/escapist behavior and greatly detracts from pursuing freedom and the establishment of a viable black society/community/nation. Such religious pursuits--within the context of an oppressive society of racism white supremacy--are indicative of a puerile and childish mentality. A mature people are reality based and proactive.

  • There is a pervasive mindset of self-destruction among the black diaspora. Such self-destructive behaviors are realized via omission or commission. Drug dealers, gang bangers, whorish black women having many babies out of wedlock, thuggery, ad nauseum are destructive behaviors of "commission." Apathy regarding support of black owned businesses and magical thinking focusing on religion as the panacea for our problems to the exclusion of engaging in practical solutions are crimes of "omission."

  • Good brother, your insights are, again, on point. When I was growing up I heard an appropriate axiom: "Don't be so heavenly minded that we are no Earthly good." My spirituality is my own subjective business. Organized religions have become a racket. We, as a people, would be better off spending our time doing productive things such as reading, building businesses, exercise, and establishing organizations that serve our people like hospitals (similar to the many Jewish hospitals).

  • you don't like churches pastors are making big money in the name of GOD.some of the churches help and some don't.
