Its funny how this type of videos have a few thousand views but if they were videos of artists like Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber the views will be millions or close to it!! Its sad to know that many people specially teenagers and young adults in their 20's dont pay attention to this!

@johncarlosvasquez Dont worry man, Im young, and Ive always paid attention to such messages. Maybe not as much as before, but certainly now more than ever in my life.  I am increasing rosary prayer, I realize just how serious all of this is right now. Our Lady is sad in heaven watching us commit so many sins against the Father. I feel so ashamed on behalf of humanity. And I myself have committed some of these sins.

@bayreuth79 You might be thinking of another prayer as the Hail Holy Queen states: "our life, our sweetness and our hope". The word "only" is not in this prayer.

You mentioned previously that you used to be a Carthusian. I cannot imagine a Carthusian without a great devotion to Christ's mother. Perhaps you are thinking of a different order or even a different religion. Let us pray for each other.

@HailMaryAdvent Worshipping a statue would of course be idolatrous, but what I am suggesting is that praying to Mary could easily degenerate into worship. I am certianly not comfortable with certain expression in some of the Marian hymns, such as "Salve Regina", which contains the theologically dubious line addressed to Mary "our ONLY hope". Hmmm. You must agree that this is dangerous language; Mary is not our ONLY hope, how could she be?

Prayer and Penance are needed. The Old Testament is full of incidences where people sinned greatly against God and needed prophets to tell them to pray, fast and offer sacrifices. God in His mercy has given us the perfect remedy- the Rosary- the most powerful prayer next to the Mass.

Pray the rosary to end the killing of children, abuse of women and degradation of men.

@bayreuth79 Idolatry is worshiping the actual statue; not praying in front of an image of someone. We have pictures of family members and others on our walls at home. This is not idolatry, even if we sometimes speak words of love to those persons through their images. Remember the prayers of the rosary are mostly the words God gave us. "Hail Mary" through Gabriel and "Our Father" through our Lord Jesus Christ. Do not be afraid. God wants His mother loved and appreciated.

I cannot bring myself to pray to Mary because it feels idolatrous. I used to be a Carthusian, so I do know something about the Church, but I could never feel comfortable kneeling before a statue of Mary and plead with her to intercede for me or others. Why not go straight to God Himself? Is He not a loving Father? In the Salve Regina is says "... our only hope"; what does that mean? Surely God is our ONLY hope

Brother, I am now wondering if you ‘listened to His Holy Spirit’ before saying such things? I suggest that you re-watch this video and try to understand its content, Mary's message in general. Afterwards, study carefully the Akita phenomenon in its entirety, paratactically and conjunctively with the other relevant Marian apparitions most esp. that of Fatima because most authors on the subject are in agreeance that Akita is an update of Fatima.
