A very good film which won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2007.
All actors are (local) non-professional Mongolians with the exception of Nan Yu who is Chinese and plays Tuya and also does a terrific job.

I think u may find it in mainland china,but U may check out a film called Gangan har,i liked it,name is about a black horse but can see the real life in the country.

i've been to Inner Mongolia, most of Mongolians are afraid to admit that they speak fluent Mongolian.. especially in presence of a han Chinese from center. it seems it is some sort of fear accumulated for years

it is just a chinese film made by chinese,plz respect the mgls under occupations,even there r some of them changed,but still many of them r just nomads in the countryside,they did nothing but just nobody could help
