Created spring 2006, I had 3 weeks to do this, so I knew it couldn't be more than Batman coming in, and whooping bad-guy ass. My goal was to mimic the original Animated Series look. I did my layouts on black construction paper and scanned them in, and all characters were animated traditionally, frame by frame, in flash.

I also spliced Shirley Walker's beautiful scores from 5 different episodes together in Adobe Audition to create my own custom score for this piece.

  • some people just have too much time on their hands. get your but outside and play

  • I happen have a rather lucrative career in animation. This was part of a school project back in college.

I also weight lift thrice a week, play tennis, and football on the beach when I can. It's ironic when someone sitting in a chair on youtube tells someone else to get off their BUTT and go outside anyway don't you think?

  • you used the music/sounds from the batman tas episode "the man who killed batman", nicely done.

  • Indeed! The organ gave that theme an amazing feel I thought. Perfect for the 30 second in and out short I intended to do here.

  • @ComicBookReader : Thanks dude! The more you do it the more you naturally get better, but finding good tutorials and books takes you a long way too. Good luck!

  • It was going good. It was real good. Then you killed it. You KILLED it. Please, PLEASE stop tainting things with you awfulness.

  • Bazzzzing! Awesome comeback!

  • That is pretty amazing man!

  • This looks great. The animation looks very crisp. It's why I prefer doing frame-by-frame instead of point and bone manipulation in animation. great job

  • WoW WoW WoW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brilliant 5/5
