As a matter of fact Johnny, one of your songs "Ngam Luang Prabang"... that is a verson of "Kub Toom Luang Prabang".. Do you know how many versions of that song there are???? So you in turn have COPIED someone else...

The point I'm trying to make is - DON'T EXPECT IP laws to be held up in Laos!

One of Johnny's songs that was copied is this song here.. "huk sao Lao" or Johnny's name "Koi huk sao Lao."

As it was explained to me, this song was originally written by a Laotian "master" for a Laotian artist.. and somehow it was "sold" Jonny Olsen, who then recorded his version in 2007. The above video was recorded probably about the same time... if not a few months after..

Johnny - there are hundreds of classic Laotian songs, re-recorded by many artists over and over, resold all over!

@MawlumMawkhaenFarang --- That's where I you are wrong and I disagree with you! Copyrights are NOT a "universally understood law" ESPECIALLY in Laos! There is no such law! Jonny as you may know, since you've been in Laos, almost every street corner vendors are selling bootlegs of ANY AND ALL MUSIC VCD and DVDs.
