Does this support the new 1005 models? Because my graphics card isn't supported in 9.10 or 10.04. Please tell me the 1005 has a graphics card

when i try to boot the cd on my pc to put it onto a usb flash, when i selected start xubuntu (the one for eeepc) it just displays a bunch of text witch says ok at the end like
bla bla bla device [OK] and when it reaches the end it stops, the screen blinks 3-4 times and it does nothing until i press the shutdown button...wtf

Sorry, I tend to be kind of blunt, the xp operating system is about 2.5 gigs, the other operating system is approx .5 gigs. Also, xp is MUCH more resource intensive than linux

WTF is your problem? I asked a serious question.

i guess so, but it would require quite a bit of messing around because the whole idea is that eeexubuntu is basically just xubuntu with eee native drivers
-
um, duh

Will this be faster than running XP?

I was wondering if eeexubuntu would work well on an acer aspire one?
What do you mean it doesn't have a harddrive? It has a 4G SSD (solid state drive) and the surf has a 2G.
