Hold tight to the Quran and the sunnah Quran is the last and final revelation to mankind its the Verbatim word of the Creator and the Sunnah is the teachings of the last and final messenger to mankind the prophet Muhammed(Pbuh)
Say(Muhammad): "I do but warn you according to revelation." [21:45]
if the Quran was the only source the prophet followed, judged by, and warned by, then how is it possible that he could have said any of the 'reported sayings' that human beings have attributed to him in the piles of 'hadith'?
@pakishock91 Brother I used to think like you. Suna is very important but today suna is misused by Wahabism. If you are sure a prophet said something then you must follow, avoid the weak hadiths. Stick with Quran first then suna to understand Islam. Don't be Suni sect or shiat. Be only a Muslim.
The SUNNAH has nothing to do with the religion of islam/Religion of ALLAH because never ONCE does ALLAH tell us to follow any other scriptures aside from the Quran.. he only forbids their use.
If you follow books other than the Quran for guidance, you are committing shirk and have officially left ISLAM..
I am slowly learning about Islam and I would like to know where I can find more resources about the sunnah. I am also trying to find info on the real hadith as well. The more I know the better I will understand. I already have an English translation of the Qu'ran (sorry, arabic isn't there in my brain yet). Any advice on where to go, including online would be greatly appreciated. This guy in this video is dead on!!
@TheSaffyone
According to the Quran, the prophet only: followed the Qur'an [10:15, 6:50, 46:9]
Judged by the Qur'an [4:105, 5:48-49]
warned by the Quran:
Say(Muhammad): "I do but warn you according to revelation." [21:45]

Jazakallahu Khair for the post brother. Any Muslim who wishes to be successful in both the worlds should hold fast to the Quran and Authentic Sunnah.
