While tucked in his bed, an ordinary boy dreams of being a cowboy. His transformation, accompanied by a catchy tune and the addition of a horse, a hat, spurs, and so on, is quite appealing. His adventures in the West with Indians and bandits are not as captivating, but the fun conclusion redeems it.

  • I remember this from my childhood! Thumbs up if you loved it then and still do now.

  • Good grief, you silly PC people can't just let children enjoy something for what it is, pure fantasy. I'll bet you still see racism and sexism at every corner, instead of what every little boy wants to grow up to be, a hero and a peacemaker.

  • @GunRunning14 yeah. we need to abolish political corectness.

  • I have had this stuck in my head all day, singing it to my baby boy..I loved it when I was a child and still do! :)

  • That song sure is catchy... "needs a horse, needs a horse"

  • I want a 50's style house.

  • my dad said his dad worked for technicolor

  • my childhood

  • Oh God - soooooo 1950s, from the very start. That house - so reminiscent of the house in "North by Northwest": Ranch-style with pictures windows. And of course, the kid dreams about the Wild West as portrayed by all those 1950s TV shows: Hopalong Cassidy, Cisco Kid, Lone Ranger, etc. There is also homage to the movies of John Ford: the rock formations all beckon from Monument Valley.

  • ...ROFL, it's John Marston as a kid!

  • .......OMFG...It must have been 18 years since I saw this the last time!!! I just found it accidentally now and had a river of memories coming over me.

    So awesome!
