So do I. Because of the friends that she made during her time in Oz...they were so loveable. And then she leaves them to go home. And the music is wonderful too, and fits in perfectly.

Its about the time of the technology. Wonderland's technology is way more advanced that´s why they get color tv from magic spells that´s the reason why the movie begins in black n white then it goes to color when they get to the wonderland and in the end it goes back to black n white again

Why the hell go from making a black and white movie when the Tv color was out back then Ahh i get it they failed the Movie Budget so they had to use black n white with color so they wouldnt go over the budget crappy filming industry damn you all

obviously, you're not too bright. this was one of the first ever movies to be made in color, and the thing was, dorothy is living in kansas (black and white) then she opens the door to oz, and all of oz is in color. but then she's back in kansas so its black and white again. the beggining is in b-a-w too.

YEP! It is 1939, like, 70-years ago.

I really like the movie (or i could say, "old film")

But Judy aka Dorothy is right, there is no place....like home!
