Très belle mélodie! Sensible et poétique!

he chose deafness, the sadness was his game and his illusion. If you break it he introduces knowledge and understanding beyond the grasp of what should be normally thought as "possible"

Is "the silence Beethoven felt" the real subject here? I know Beethoven went deaf - he never actually heard the piece regarded as his greatest - the 9th Symphony. Presumably this short piece tries to capture the emotion & sadness of a musical genius trying to come to terms with what it must have been like to be unable to hear a performance of one of his pieces; the only interpretation available to him was the silent one he would have conceived entirely in his mind. Is this being portrayed here?

why would beethoven compose a piece for synthesised strings and brite piano? pleasant listening however. reminds me of the time i caught my girlfriend cheating with my wife.
