About the charts, the way I see it is that there were only so many spaces available on the charts for songs to take up, and way too many good songs to make room for in the higher positions. Let's be thankful we had these songs, whether they charted or not!

Did poorly on the charts??? Not in England were it went to #1, bumping off Paperback Writer, right at the beginning of 1966. It did alright in the US, too, but DJs expected to be bribed to play new spins, so talent seldom won out.

Had great taste In England.What A Wonderful World number one for 4 weeks in England did poor on U.S. Charts.I guess you're right
