When you lose a job, you haven't saved up money for attorney fees to go and modify or change your prior court order, and that's what needs to be done. So, basically, usually when someone loses their job, they're thinking about rent, their car payment, house payment, whatever it might be, but that child support order still stays in effect. So if you're paying $800 a month child support or $500, it's going to stay that amount until you change it. And that's — you would have then to file what's called a Motion to Modify Child Support.

I am sure that with enough effort we could find at least 1,000,000 men who have gone through similar situations. We want to form some sort of union on this and get the laws changed. We will take it to Washington, organize marches, create petitions to be signed, ect? It can be done, we just need to seek out anyone who is willing. I know it will not be a fast situation, but nothing worthwhile is ever easy

thiers nothing wrong with paying child support but whats unfair is the ARREARS THAT U HAVE TO PAY, thats modern day slavery because u will never get that paid unless u win the lotto or somthing ,child support was designed for war to keep the women having babies so when they grow up they join the military and of course its an income tax check for the women who are nothing but sperm BANKS and section 8 whores.

my child support was my first priorty at all times. i had rearages the hole time that my son was raised. i am poor as hell but i paid my child support off and my son is a decorated sargent in the army, and served in afganastan. i am so proud of him. i am homeless
