This is a new shelter the wife and I put up for the 5740. It took 2.5 days to do it but I think it was worth it.

  • good job there then!. i even asked for support on their webpage , never got a response.. i like the green house, but the thing that bugs me is i only got that one because the picture shows a shelf in it. there is no shelf in it..!

I scan tell thats your baby..its a sharp looking piece of machinery i must say..

by the way, whats a kilpie and a ground rod driver.?!

i guess i should look them up huh?

    where do u live btw?

  • @OverSoulMatrix33 I understand they aren't the greatest company to deal with. If they are as bad as there instructions then there terrible lol. I've never seen one with a shelf! Na, not my baby but it's brand new and use it for snow clearing contracts. Ive done allot of custom stuff to it. A Hilti is a gun used for A ground rod driver. Looks like a drill like that will put a long rod in the ground with ease. I live in Newfoundland, Canada. Check out my other vids. Thanks for commenting :)

  • Wow, that is a super nice tractor to only use it for snow removal!

Make you a deal.. I'll take the tractor so it won't take up space and I'll snow blow your driveway in trade. Then you won't even need the shelter! ;)

  • @LowkeeLT That's tempting but what about the other 9 contract areas I do? lol The shelter is really only for the summer months. In the winter the Kubota sleeps in a heated garage, that way I just jump in it and push the door opener and go to work. In the winter I'll put my old truck in the shelter. Thanks for posting. Had a good chuckle :)

  • Heck that won't be a problem for me. My shed is know where near Kenmount Rd. Lol. Seriously. I realize some blow away but I'm very doubtful this one will because of the shape, location and the fact it's squeezed between two trees. I put a total of 26 5/8" re-bar rods down 42". If it blows away I won't be taking it down out of the trees lol. Thanks for commenting ;).

  • I had two of these shelters blow across Kenmount Rd in a wind storm a few years ago. The guy who anchored them drove 20" steel rod into the ground about 4". Needless to say the day after the storm it was not fun climbing trees to try and take them out of it.
